After a full morning of activity, boys are always ready for lunch. It is rare when cheers don’t go up at lunch when boys see chicken tenders, reubens, grilled cheese, or even home-made soups on cold days! A full salad bar is also always available, as are exceptionally popular “leftovers.”
After the meal are announcements on the morning. “Kudos” are given to campers who had particular success in a clinic or were helpful to a camper or counselor. The Program Director explains all the choices for “A Block” and “B Block,” which often include at least one trip. As activity promotions, skits are common at this meal, and, after just a few days of camp, all boys catch on to the humor!
